A Day at the Old Malthouse


7.30am    
All welcome (whether staying overnight or not) to a hot breakfast plus cereal, juice and toast.
8.15am     
Day pupils arrive, some by school minibus.
8.30am    
Whole school assembly, hymn and prayers/Form Tutor Period/PSHE
8.50am    
Lessons begin.
10.10am  
Break – sandwich/fruit and drink, tree climbing, game playing, camp building
10:40am  
More lessons.
12.45pm  
Lunch - at tables with teaching staff. Spaghetti Bolognese a favourite.
1.15pm    
Time for music practice and some free time.
1.45pm    
Even more lessons and on Wednesday games
3.30pm    
Games: Hockey, soccer, rugby, netball, cross-country, cricket, rounders, tennis or swimming.
5.00pm    
Drink and biscuits. Some younger pupils go home.
5:15pm    
Supervised prep at OMH or take the work home
6.15pm    
Supper for any pupil still at school
6.45pm     
Activities for all - masses to do and good fun! 
Cookery, gymnastics, squash, stone carving, art, pottery, drama, cookery, carpentry …..
7.30pm - 8.30pm 
Pupils staying go  upstairs for showers, stories, reading, games, laughter and occasional television.
9.00pm     
Senior pupils watch the News (on Sky)
9.30pm     
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ…
